The Fall Entrance Ceremony was held on September 12, 2020.  The Fall Entrance Ceremony is intended for new students in the English degree program, where all classes are conducted in English.  Unfortunately, this year, due to the spread of COVID-19, the ceremony had to be held on a smaller scale.  However, by live streaming, new students, who could not enter Japan, were able to participate in the ceremony, from all over the world.

The president of Hosei University, Yuko Tanaka in her speech, introduced the history of Hosei University, the Hosei University Charter, and welcomed new students.  After that, a welcome speech was given by the current student representative and an admission speech was given by the new student representative. At the end, all the attendees listened to the school song.

Following the ceremony, the new students were given an online faculty orientation, in which they had the chance to introduce themselves to faculty and staff members.
