The Fall Entrance Ceremony was held on September 11, 2021. This ceremony was for new students in the English Degree Program, where all classes are conducted in English. Unfortunately, the ceremony was held on a smaller scale this year, the same as last year, due to the spread of COVID-19. However, by live streaming, new students, who could not enter Japan, were able to participate in the ceremony, from all over the world.

In his speech, the president of Hosei University, Katsuya Hirose, looked back on the year and a half facing novel coronavirus challenges, introduced the Hosei University Charter, and welcomed new students. After that, a welcome speech was given by the current student representative and an entrance speech was given by the new student representative. At the end of the ceremony, all the attendees listened to the school song. Congratulations to all the new students!
