The Fall Entrance Ceremony was held on September 9, 2023. This ceremony was for new students in the English Degree Programs, where all classes are conducted in English.

The students started their studies at Hosei University after experiencing more than three and a half years of living through the COVID-19 pandemic and the ending of the pandemic.

In his address, the president of Hosei University, Katsuya Hirose welcomed the new students and presented the University Charter “Practical Wisdom for Freedom”.

He said he hopes students will keep in mind the feelings and ideas about the need to dynamically balance individual freedom with the circumstances and conditions of society while they are at Hosei University, a place where they will strive for “Practical Wisdom for Freedom.”

After that, a welcome speech was given by the current student representative and an entrance speech was given by the new student representative. At the end of the ceremony, all the attendees listened to the school song. Congratulations to all the new students!
