The Global Business Program (GBP) at Hosei University continues to provide valuable opportunities for students to engage with real-world perspectives through its diverse courses. One highlight is the Workshop II course, where external guest speakers are invited regularly.
On April 27, the class welcomed a special group from Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), one of South Korea’s leading universities with over 600 years of history and a top 100 global ranking. A total of 13 participants from the SKKU Seoul RISE Global Innovation Center, supported by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, visited Hosei University for an exchange session.
Led by Professor Eliot Shin, the group included two mentors and ten students focused on global entrepreneurship. During the session, six startup teams presented their ideas in an interactive discussion format, encouraging open exchange rather than formal pitching.
A student host shared, “It was an honor to welcome the SKKU team. Their passion for entrepreneurship inspired me to reflect more deeply on my own project.”
